Beef short ribs are the smaller pieces taken from the main portion of the beef ribs. Short ribs are cut from the chuck and plate primal cuts. They include bone, which adds immense flavor to the tender and tasty beef short ribs.
Being naturally tough, they require relatively longer cooking times. We highly recommend slow-cooking them in a crackpot till they reach fall-off-the-bone tenderness, or braise them in a rich red wine sauce to serve with mashed potatoes and veggies. You will love the flavor and texture either way.
