Chicken Wings

For the most part, chicken wings remain free of carbs and, therefore, available to anyone having trouble balancing their blood sugar. On the other hand, low cholesterol and high protein levels keep the body from suffering a stroke or heart disease. The remaining nutrients promote levels of hemoglobin and provide countless other health benefits.

A healthy chicken wing is characterized by its pale pink coloring and consistent meat. Despite the low-density meat on the bones, a fresh chicken wing would not sport any holes, keeping the bone underneath concealed.

As for the wings themselves, you can marinate them for an hour before frying, air-frying, or baking them to add a depth of flavor to the meat, or do the same after you take them off the hob or oven and leave them to rest.
